## What is the Ethereum Sepolia Faucet?

Free testnet ETH and USDT for builders

Ethereum Sepolia is the primary public testnet recommended by the Ethereum Foundation for application-layer developers. It mirrors the behaviour of Ethereum mainnet — same EVM, same RPC methods, same tooling (Hardhat, Foundry, Remix, Truffle, viem, ethers.js) — but uses worthless test ETH so you can experiment freely.

A faucet is a service that distributes a small amount of test tokens to a wallet address. The Crypto Chief Ethereum Sepolia faucet drips both native Sepolia ETH (for gas) and a test ERC-20 USDT (for stablecoin flows) directly from your personal dashboard.

Because the faucet lives inside your Crypto Chief account, requests are rate-limited per user instead of per IP. This keeps the pool sustainable and gives every developer a fair share of testnet liquidity.

## How to get Sepolia ETH & USDT

From sign-in to first drip in under a minute

1. Sign in to your Crypto Chief dashboard (or create a free account in under a minute).
2. Open the Faucet section and select **Ethereum Sepolia**.
3. Paste the destination wallet address (any EVM-compatible address works).
4. Pick the token you need — Sepolia ETH for gas, test USDT for stablecoin scenarios.
5. Confirm the request. Tokens usually arrive within 1–2 Sepolia blocks (about 30 seconds).

## Examples of Use

What developers build with free Sepolia tokens

#### Smart contract deployment

Deploy Solidity contracts to Sepolia without spending real ETH, verify them on Etherscan and iterate quickly.

#### QA & integration tests

Run end-to-end test suites against a real EVM network — perfect for staging environments and pre-production checks.

#### CI/CD pipelines

Provision predictable test balances inside automated pipelines so every build can sign and broadcast transactions.

#### Stablecoin flows

Use test USDT to verify swaps, payments, escrow logic and liquidity routing before going live on mainnet.

#### Wallet & dApp testing

Validate wallet integrations, signing flows and gas estimations on the canonical Ethereum testnet.

#### Security audits

Reproduce production scenarios in a safe environment for fuzzing, invariant testing and audit walkthroughs.

## Got questions?
we are here to help

## Is the Ethereum Sepolia faucet really free?

Yes. Sepolia ETH and test USDT have no monetary value and are distributed at no cost to any signed-in Crypto Chief user.

## How much Sepolia ETH can I claim per day?

Each account can claim 0.05 Sepolia ETH every 24 hours. Higher limits are available for Pay-as-you-go and Subscription plans.

## Where does the test USDT come from?

We deploy a faucet-only ERC-20 USDT contract on Sepolia. It mimics the mainnet USDT interface (6 decimals, transfer, approve) so it integrates with any contract that expects USDT.

## Why does my transaction stay pending?

Sepolia block production can occasionally slow down during heavy traffic. If a transaction is stuck, wait 1–2 minutes and re-check the explorer before requesting again.

## Can I use Sepolia tokens on mainnet?

No. Sepolia is an isolated testnet — tokens issued by the faucet only exist on chain ID 11155111 and cannot be bridged to Ethereum mainnet.

## Which wallets support Sepolia?

Any EVM wallet — MetaMask, Rabby, OKX Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet — supports Sepolia. Add the network manually with our RPC endpoint or via chainlist.org.
